App Factory: from idea to the App Store, run by AI agents

A mobile app production pipeline orchestrated by Claude Code. You show up at three gates only: the idea, design approval, and the real-device test. The agents handle everything in between.

Getting AI to write code is easy. Shipping to the store is the hard part.

Code is maybe a third of an app. The rest is subscriptions and paywalls, analytics, backend, a privacy page, store copy and assets, builds, TestFlight and review rules. You repeat the same hundred steps by hand for every new app, and most projects die right here, after the code is done. App Factory wires those steps into a stage machine and hands them to agents.

How it works

  1. YOU brainstorm
  2. research
  3. spec
  4. design
  5. YOU design_approval
  6. scaffold
  7. integrations
  8. build_features
  9. qa
  10. store_assets βˆ₯ parallel website
  11. build
  12. submit_testing
  13. YOU device_test
  14. publish
  15. post_launch

Every stage has a done-check. An agent gets three attempts to pass it; if it still fails, the pipeline stops and notifies you. At each gate the pipeline waits and pings you on Telegram.

What's in the box

Orchestrator rules (CLAUDE.md)

Follows the stage machine and doesn't ask when a rule already answers it: it decides, logs the decision, and moves on.

9 specialist subagents

researcher, architect, designer, builder, integrator, qa, store-writer, web, release. Each works in its own role and context.

10 ready commands

/new-app, /run, /status, /ship, /setup-revenuecat, /setup-posthog, /setup-supabase, /web-deploy, /review-4-3, /learn.

Pipeline definition

Every stage and its done-check in one file. Edit it to fit your own process.

Memory that learns

The system records its mistakes and lessons, and doesn't repeat them on the next app.

Secret vault

API keys stay out of git, the agent never prints their values, and hooks block commands that try to read the vault.

Apple 4.3 check

A pre-submission command and differentiation rules that scan for spam/copycat rejection risk.

Templates and checklists

Spec, state file, privacy policy, store submission.

Product principles

Viral loop vs. ASO, hard paywall, credit model, 30-day keep-or-kill thresholds.

Two production lines

Apps

Expo + React Native (TypeScript strict), RevenueCat, PostHog, Supabase Edge Functions when needed, EAS Build/Submit, Vercel + Cloudflare for the web side.

Games beta

Unity. Builds go through Unity CLI/Cloud Build + fastlane to TestFlight and Play internal testing. Monetization is the same via the RevenueCat Unity SDK. This line is new and under active development.

What you need

  • A Claude Code subscription (the pipeline runs long sessions; a high-usage plan is recommended)
  • An Apple Developer account ($99/year) and/or a Google Play developer account ($25 one-time)
  • Expo/EAS, RevenueCat, PostHog and Supabase accounts (all start on a free tier)
  • Basic comfort with a terminal and git. You don't need to write code, but you should be able to read an error message.

For you if

You're a developer, indie hacker or small studio shipping apps with AI and tired of redoing the same setup by hand every time. Especially if you plan to ship more than one app.

Not for you if

You want a one-click money machine. App Factory is a production line; finding the app that works and marketing it is still your job. There is no income guarantee.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to know how to code?

You don't need to write code, but this is a technical product. You should be comfortable with a terminal, git and developer accounts.

Does it only work with Claude Code?

Yes. The subagents, commands and hooks are written for Claude Code's project structure.

How many apps can I ship?

No limit for your own apps.

Won't Apple reject apps built from the same template?

The risk is real. That's why the pipeline enforces design and architecture differentiation rules per app and runs a 4.3 check before submission. It's still on you: don't ship clones of each other.

How do updates work?

Through the same GitHub repo. The pipeline is updated as Expo SDK, store rules and integrations change. Year one is included.

Is there support?

A setup guide and issue reporting on the repo. 1:1 support is only in the Setup package.

When does it go on sale?

Waitlist members hear first, by email.

Who built this?

I'm Murat Dikici. I've been building software for 20+ years and now have AI agents write all of my code. App Factory is the exact pipeline I use every day to ship my own apps.
